NCFE Certificate in Equality and Diversity Level 2
Achieving equality and diversity in the workplace can be difficult, even more so if you’re not really sure what all the jargon and legislation surrounding it really means. Finding yourself in a grievance over an equality issue, dealing with personal prejudice, or needing to understand peoples rights can be a daunting thought.
This course will explore your values, identify where peoples prejudices’ may have come from and why they behave the way they do now as a result. A great course programme to get staff discussing issues and talking about their beliefs so that it can help achieve a harmonious working environment.

The course consists of three units:
- Unit 1: Explore equality and diversity
- Unit 2: Explore prejudice and discrimination
- Unit 3: Explore people’s rights and responsibilities
Who is the course aimed at:
This course is designed for those who wish to develop their knowledge of the issues and anti-discrimination laws that relate to equality and diversity. Work environments with an already diverse culture in their workforce and those organisations who want to achieve good standards of equality and diversity in its work practices.

The course programme is delivered as blended learning utilizing the learners own abilities in self study and short tutorials with the tutor. In between appointments the tutor is available by phone or email for any queries.
The learner completes a series of assessment questions which are assessed and moderated to national standards. The tutor ensures the learner has full understanding of the information contained in the learning materials.
