Infections and infectious diseases can affect anyone, especially the vulnerable people amongst us who are under 5, over 65 or already have an ongoing medical condition. Therefore it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure they do their bit to help prevent infections and control the spread should one occur.
Many people lack the knowledge of how infections develop and spread and therefore are ill equipped to prevent them in the workplace. This course highlights the good practice procedures needed by cleaners, food handlers, care staff and those working in communal environments such as care homes, hospitals, prisons, nurseries and dentist or doctors surgeries.
